Silvershadow This finish is applied to Red Alder (an American hardwood) . During the many steps of finishing sheets of silver leaf are applied to the entire surface by hand. After additional steps, the finish is aged by adding various tones to the finish. Once the many steps of finishing are performed a soft laquer finish is applied. Variations in color and grain are a product of nature. A small sample can not truly reflect every tone and texture of the finish. Please use this sample as a guide for approximate color tone. |
